History of MEC

Formed in 1993 by Bill Lampard, following twenty years experience both in the UK and overseas working with Volvo Penta, Mercruiser, BMW, OMC and Yamaha.

One of the first companies to be appointed a distributor by Vetus - manufacturers of quality marine diesel engines - MEC has expanded over the years and offers both trade and retail customers a wide range of equipment, spare parts from stock and sound technical advice. In addition an efficient distribution network enables MEC to ship goods to any destination.
